British toy company First 4 Figures, known for releasing numerous video game-themed character statues, will release a PVC statue of Sonic the Hedgehog based on the cover art of SEGA's classic title, "Sonic Adventure"! Scheduled for release in Q4 2023!
Developed by Sonic Team and released in 1998 on SEGA's Dreamcast console, "Sonic Adventure" was a revolutionary Sonic the Hedgehog game for many fans. With its brand-new 3D high-speed stages, and powerful, dynamic characters and camera work, it left audiences stunned even before its release. The game's cover art also reimagined Sonic the Hedgehog's image, bidding farewell to his rounder lines and giving him a sharper, more intense and explosive appearance.

This Sonic the Hedgehog statue from First 4 Figures, based on "Sonic Adventure", is a materialized product inspired by the game's cover art and title logo. The Sonic, originally only seen in 2D, has been fully realized in 3D, exuding the same fierce, ready-to-pounce energy. Standing approximately 23 cm tall, every detail on Sonic, including his expression and the texture of his shoe soles, has been faithfully recreated. He stands atop the "SONIC ADVENTURE" game title logo, and the base features an LED light-up function, which, when illuminated, further enhances the protagonist's powerful aura.
Similarly, this product is available in two versions: the standard Collector's Edition and the more comprehensive Definitive Edition. The latter, in addition to special cards and artwork, also features an additional blue light-effect ring around the main figure. When lit, it mimics the dazzling glow Sonic emits while running at high speed, conveying both a sense of velocity and premium quality.
