The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., will launch a new product based on "Dragon Ball Z": the "S.H.Figuarts Android 20" action figure. It will have a suggested retail price of 7,700 JPY (tax included) and is scheduled for release in January 2024!
Android 20 was originally Dr. Gero, a scientist for the Red Ribbon Army. After the Red Ribbon Army was single-handedly destroyed by young Goku, the doctor sought revenge for his son, who was killed by Goku. For years, he dedicated himself to developing secret weapons that could defeat Goku. Dr. Gero first created Android 16 and Android 19, modeled after his son, and then transformed the twin siblings into Android 17 and Android 18. Finally, to gain immense power and an immortal body, he transformed himself into Android 20.
The "S.H.Figuarts Android 20" action figure stands approximately 13 cm tall and faithfully recreates Android 20's distinctive appearance with the latest articulation design, including his vibrant orange puffy sleeves, long white hair reaching his hips, and the device in his hand for absorbing Kamehameha energy. In addition to a standard expression, it also includes interchangeable face parts such as a left-gazing face from his first appearance, a battle cry face, and a sly smile face. Furthermore, an interchangeable head part is included to display him with his hat removed, revealing his brain. Coupled with multiple interchangeable hand gestures and accessories like his damaged right hand and controller, you can recreate various scenes from the series!
