Following the release of the Keaton-version Batman in the "Batman (Modern Suit)" based on the DC film "The Flash," Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys today (June 1st) unveiled another new Batman figure along with the super cool Batcycle! The "Batman" 1/6th scale collectible figure, numbered MMS703, is expected to ship in Q3-Q4 2024.

This "MMS703 Batman" stands approximately 33 cm tall and features 28 points of articulation, boasting a remarkably robust physique. This suit is referred to as the "Advanced Suit" on Hot Toys' official website, crafted from elastic fabric in a synthetic costume style. It features a prominent Bat-symbol on the chest, grey armor plating in multiple areas, metallic-textured strap buckles, and a golden utility belt, creating a rich sense of layering. The cape, predominantly navy blue, has an internal wire along its edges, allowing collectors to pose it dynamically as if in flight, while also maintaining an excellent natural drape.

For the head sculpts, this release includes two masked versions: one with a "segmented" neck design and another with a "seamless" neck. Both head sculpts feature rolling eyeballs, and collectors can create various expressions using the three interchangeable lower face parts included. Accessories include a grapnel gun, three Batarangs, and a "The Flash"-themed display base with a Bat-symbol and LED light-up function. However, Hot Toys' current description does not specify the identity of this particular Batman, and the head sculpt indeed shows significant differences from previous "Ben Affleck" versions of Batman. Or could it simply be that he's just gotten heavier!? We'll have to wait and see.
