Following the release of the "DX King-Ohger," Bandai Spirits Japan today announced the latest product from the 2023 Super Sentai series special effects new work, "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger," the "DX King-Ohger ZERO," scheduled for release in December 2023.
King-Ohger ZERO is the result of years of top-secret research by the Hasty Royal Family, who rule Shugoddam. It utilizes artificial technology to replicate the ten insect Shugods that form King-Ohger, naming them "ZERO," and features a distinct black and gold color scheme different from the true Shugods. The current king, Racles Hasty, wields the OhgerCalibur ZERO, which not only allows him to transform into Ohkuwagata Ohger but also to summon and control King-Ohger ZERO, unleashing power that surpasses the original King-Ohger through the sword's data.
The "DX King-Ohger ZERO" utilizes essentially the same molds as the original King-Ohger, with altered part molding colors and paintwork to reproduce its unique black and gold color scheme and full-body patterns. The product includes a total of ten artificial Shugods: Kuwagata ZERO, Tombo ZERO, Kamakiri ZERO, Papillon ZERO, Hachi ZERO, two Tentou ZERO, two Kumo ZERO, and Ari ZERO, which can combine through precise transformation mechanisms to form King-Ohger ZERO.
Since the combination and transformation mechanisms remain unchanged, this product can also combine with the separately sold three main Shugods to form the "Legend King-Ohger ZERO" form, which did not appear in the show. It can even be mixed and matched with the original King-Ohger to recreate the form seen in episode six!
