Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's transformable action figure series "VARIABLE ACTION" has announced its latest product from the OVA "Future GPX Cyber Formula SAGA", the "Garland SF-03 -Livery Edition-", with a suggested retail price of 16,500 JPY, scheduled for release in November 2023!
The Garland SF-03, which appeared in "Future GPX Cyber Formula SAGA", was a new vehicle designed by Claire Fortran and introduced in 2020. Originally Henri Claytor's racing car, it was driven by Hayato Kazami in the first half of the 2020 season because the new Asurada had not yet been fully developed. It was the only car Hayato drove without Asurada as his partner, making Hayato realize how important Asurada was as a battle partner.
The "VARIABLE ACTION Garland SF-03 -Livery Edition-" makes a re-appearance as part of the "Livery Edition" series, launched to commemorate the 30th anniversary of "Future GPX Cyber Formula". The overall paint scheme has become more refined and profound, and the realistic metallic paint details give the vehicle a more authentic texture. Its sharp exterior and iconic diamond-shaped headlights are cleanly reproduced, and the markings and patterns on various parts of the body have also been redesigned to present a more realistic feel!
By replacing parts, the Boost Mode can be recreated.
