Bandai Spirits' new combining robot toy series "UNITROBORN (ユニトロボーン)" will release its latest collaboration product with the revolving sushi chain "Sushiro", the "UNITROBO Tuna Sushi Fire Engine" combining robot! The suggested retail price is 3,190 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2023.
UNITROBORN is a brand new original toy series that inherits the legacy of Bandai's early "Machine Robo" toys. The story is set around mechanical lifeforms called "UTA-ZO" who come to Earth from space. To protect Earth's peace, they use their songs to instantly combine any objects of the same color around them into robots. Lobsters and apples, sharks and vending machines, hamburgers and bulldozers... all sorts of imaginative combinations can merge into powerful robots to defeat the mysterious enemies causing chaos.
The "UNITROBO Tuna Sushi Fire Engine" combining robot merges Sushiro's popular tuna sushi with a seemingly unrelated fire engine! The series particularly emphasizes retaining the original form of the objects before combination. The muscular texture of the tuna sashimi, the granular detail of the sushi rice, and even Sushiro's plate are meticulously sculpted. It features a clever transformation and combination mechanism: simply align the connection points, and it will naturally spring open and transform, easily combining with the fire engine to form a samurai robot approximately 17 cm tall, complete with a small Sushiro-themed skirt armor!
