"Commander, have you changed into your swimsuit?"
Japanese figure manufacturer WING (株式会社ウイング) recently unveiled a new beautiful girl figure based on the popular mobile game Azur Lane: the "Dunkerque: Sweet Summer" (ダンケルク 夏のスュクレ) painted complete figure, which opened for pre-orders today (the 9th) and is expected to ship starting December 2023.
June 9, 2023 Update:
In the world of Azur Lane, "Dunkerque" is an SR Battlecruiser (BC) affiliated with the Vichya Dominion. Her prototype is the French Navy's Dunkerque-class battlecruiser. Her default in-game appearance is that of a beautiful girl with long purplish-gray hair, wielding a rapier, and possessing very sharp eyes. However, after donning her Sweet Summer SKIN, her style undergoes a dramatic change; not only do her eyes soften considerably, but the donut she holds in her hand further enhances Dunkerque's maidenly aura of enjoying a summer vacation.
This figure fully recreates the elements from the "Sweet Summer" SKIN, bringing them to life in a 15 cm tall sculpt. It includes Dunkerque herself holding a donut, a prominent straw hat, sunscreen, flip-flops, an open book, and more. In addition to the meticulous depiction of her eyes, parts of her long hair and sheer jacket are made with transparent materials. The pose from the original illustration becomes even more alluring in figure form, with her fair skin showing hints of blush, her right breast subtly deformed by the pressure of her arm, and the bikini's tantalizing transparency and wicked protrusions making it impossible to resist the urge to immediately pull out a "magic card" and place an order!
Furthermore, Dunkerque's main body can be removed, allowing for full appreciation of the Sweet Summer-themed accessory elements. The donuts in the bamboo basket are incredibly cute, and next to the various daily items, a quadruple main gun is also placed, fully conveying the world-building of Azur Lane.
