Following the release of items based on "The Flash" movie, including the "Keaton Batman", "Batman", and "Batcycle", Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys today (8th) finally unveiled the protagonist, "The Flash", as a 1/6th scale collectible figure!
This Flash, donning his new suit, stands approximately 30.5 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. It utilizes a newly developed body with enhanced articulation in the neck, chest, and abdomen, and meticulously recreates the intricate textures of the costume based on the movie's design. In addition to the LED light-up function for the lightning logo on the chest, the lightning patterns from the helmet to the suit are also applied with special effect paintwork, which, under UV light, reveals the visual effect of The Flash speeding at high velocity.
The head sculpt masterfully captures the facial contours of actor Ezra Miller and comes in two states: helmeted and unhelmeted. Both head sculpts feature rolling eyeballs technology. The helmeted head sculpt also includes three interchangeable lower face parts (two of which are yet to be revealed) and an interchangeable piece with orange translucent lenses. For the unhelmeted state, there is also a removable helmet piece that can be attached.
Accessories include 5 lightning effect parts that can be attached to the figure to enhance its dynamic sprinting poses. These can be placed on the forearms, calves, and waist, and are adjustable in angle. They can be displayed and posed with multiple interchangeable hands and a light-up The Flash-themed display base! This time, Hot Toys is also simultaneously releasing a special edition that comes with The Flash ring (with a slide-out function).
