Japan's MEGAHOUSE (Megahouse) toy company has partnered with Kyugetsu, a doll manufacturer and wholesaler established during the Edo period, to announce their latest product from "One Piece": the "Komurasaki" Japanese Doll! Both a standard edition and a deluxe edition with a special glass display case will be released simultaneously, with sales expected to begin in late February 2024.
This time, based on the "Wano Country Arc" of the "One Piece" anime, combining MEGAHOUSE's 3D figure production technology with Kyugetsu's traditional craftsmanship in creating Japanese dolls, the stunningly beautiful Oiran "Komurasaki" from the series has been exquisitely brought to life in three dimensions! Standing at a total height of 55 cm (including the base), it not only perfectly recreates Komurasaki's fair skin, slender physique, and elegant face, but also features intricate details on her blue long hair and gorgeous golden hair ornaments. The kimono is hand-sewn following Kyugetsu's artisanal techniques, and the fan's pattern is meticulously researched. The overall impressive size, the natural drape of the kimono fabric, and the wooden nameplate next to the doll inscribed with "Komurasaki" all contribute to a rich sense of luxury.
Since you've acquired such a high-end collectible, display is, of course, paramount! This special glass display case measures 75 cm high and 47 cm wide, allowing you to properly showcase the doll while creating a more spacious visual effect, making the display even more elegant. In addition to glass, the case also uses white linden wood (シナノキの白木) sourced from Nagano Prefecture, Japan, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail!
