To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Disney-themed "DISNEY MOTORS (ディズニーモータース)", TAKARA TOMY's "DREAM TOMICA SP" series, under its "Tomica (トミカ/TOMICA)" brand, is set to release the new "Mickey's Burger Shop (with Tomica Car)" set in September 2023!
Let's first look at the car. It's the classic DISNEY MOTORS vehicle, Dobe (ドゥービー), given a new color scheme and adorned with new decorations, including a green part on the car's roof resembling a small cap, the "MICKEY'S BURGER" themed printed graphics, and the DISNEY MOTORS 15th-anniversary logo.
Next is the burger shop playset. The shop model, primarily in green, burgundy, and brown, looks fantastic. The Mickey-head shaped windows and the floor tiles at the entrance are also very cute. There's also an eye-catching yellow signboard and a parking lot for playing with the Tomica car. However, what the editor personally finds coolest is the toy's storage mechanism: when not in use, it folds directly into a square box, keeping your burger shop roof and parking lot surface dust-free! The exterior also features DISNEY MOTORS printing and Mickey patterns, making it look super cool even when displayed! I really want to buy it.
