Aoshima Bunka Kyozai's model kit brand ACKS today announced the latest product from the anime "Gunbuster: Aim for the Top!", the "1/1000 Gunbuster Super Inazuma Kick ver." model kit, scheduled for release in October 2023.
The Gunbuster is a superluminal, versatile, large-scale transforming and combining mechanical weapon developed by Coach Koichiro Ohta. It is formed by the combination of two single-person space battleships, boasting an unconventional colossal height of 240 meters and two extremely powerful Reduction Reactors. It can unleash overwhelming power to perform various martial arts and utilize various armaments against space monsters. Piloted primarily by protagonist Noriko Takaya, her extraordinary "effort" and "perseverance" allow the Gunbuster to achieve near-invincible strength, capable of executing powerful moves such as the Super Inazuma Kick.
The "1/1000 Gunbuster Super Inazuma Kick ver." is based on the '>standard edition released in 2019. At an approximate height of 24 cm, it largely recreates the refined yet powerful armor design from the series, as well as the intricate details of the weapons hidden within its massive shoulder armor. Accessories include wrist and leg discharge spike parts to recreate the "Lightning Punch," and crossed-arm parts for posing in the classic "GAINAX Stance."
In addition to the existing pull-out shoulder joints and double joints, this new version features redesigned waist skirt armor and hip joint parts, specifically to enable dynamic flying kick poses. Coupled with interchangeable parts for the deployable spike treads on the soles of its feet and newly produced clear effect parts, the kit can perfectly recreate the ultimate special move, the "Super Inazuma Kick"!
