The 3D puzzle series 『Disassembly Puzzle』, released by Japanese model maker MEGAHOUSE, has an incredibly fun new product that will excite ramen lovers this April: the "Heio Machi!! Shoyu Ramen Disassembly Puzzle." This puzzle guides players step-by-step in analyzing the seemingly simple yet cleverly arranged plating within a ramen bowl!
From the ramen bowl, soup, and noodles to the topmost toppings, the "Heio Machi!! Shoyu Ramen Disassembly Puzzle" is composed of as many as 25 three-dimensional puzzle pieces. The soup and noodle components alone use 13 and 8 pieces respectively. Not only does it use transparent parts to represent the clear, amber-colored shoyu broth, but it also recreates the state of parallel noodles placed in the center of the bowl, almost submerged after the broth is poured in.
Finally, using the center of the bowl as a reference, three types of topping pieces – "two slices of chashu," "braised bamboo shoots," and "chopped green onions" – are placed on the noodles, completing a classic and delicious bowl of shoyu ramen. The process of playing feels just like actually preparing a meal. Furthermore, the accessories include familiar disposable chopsticks and a tray piece. When combined, they make one feel as if they are in a local Japanese diner or a chain ramen restaurant, gazing at the food samples displayed at the entrance!
