Designed after the Queen of the Monsters from the 2019 film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," pre-orders opened in June 2023, with an estimated release in Q3 2024!
The colossal beast Mothra, who appeared in Legendary Pictures' "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," is a legendary creature continuously monitored by Monarch in the depths of Yunnan, China, and regarded as a "god." Departing from Toho's rounded, cute design, Mothra is depicted with a mantis-like long-limbed appearance, paying homage to the initial design of the first 1961 film "Mothra." Her wings can emit a dazzling, blinding radiance known as the "God's Light," and the eye patterns on her wings are designed after Godzilla's eyes, signifying their symbiotic relationship.
The SPIRAL STUDIO "Ultimate Masterline Mothra" limited edition statue features 3D modeling by Kenichi Tanaka, director and sculptor of Tanaka Studio. Standing an impressive 142 cm tall, 60 cm wide, and 60 cm deep, the statue powerfully showcases the Queen of the Monsters' massive, magnificent, and iconic wings. The intricate patterns and vibrant colors on the wings, the grid-like compound eyes, the delicately sculpted fur textures, the mantis-like forelegs, and the stinger at the tail... all contribute to the statue's heightened sense of biological realism.
To perfectly recreate her cinematic appearance, special Black Light Paint is used to simulate the effect of bioluminescent beta-light, allowing her wings to change color and emit a beautiful glow! The base, featuring buildings and explosive smoke, depicts detailed ruined architecture and scenes engulfed in fire, and combined with built-in LED lighting effects, creates an immersive sense of realism!
