Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya today announced the release of the first Brave Series villain robot from "Brave Exkaiser," "Dynogeist," scheduled for December 2023.
The villain robot "Dynogeist" is the leader of the "Akki" (Evil Oni) cosmic pirate group, which plunders treasures from hundreds of planets. Originally an ethereal energy lifeform, he merged with a life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex model upon arriving on Earth, transforming into a machine capable of three forms: Tyrannosaurus Rex, giant fighter jet, and robot. Not only does he possess power comparable to Ultimate Exkaiser, but his obsession with treasure and exceptional leadership skills also make him incredibly charismatic. His final battle with Ultimate Exkaiser is considered one of the most iconic scenes in the Brave Series.
The "Dynogeist" plastic model kit, once assembled, stands nearly 17 cm tall. Featuring multi-color molded parts and precise part separation, it can largely recreate its in-show appearance even with a straight build. The articulated inner frame structure, designed without the combination/transformation gimmick, faithfully reproduces the robot form's cool proportions and articulation. While maintaining its in-show design, the pull-out joint structures in various parts of the body, such as the chest, shoulders, and legs, allow for dynamic and powerful poses.
In terms of accessories, in addition to 5 types of interchangeable hand parts, it also includes two Dino Swords, a Dino Shield, and connection parts for the Dino Twin Sword. The powerful Dino Cannons on the legs can be deployed directly without needing to swap parts. Furthermore, this product comes with a set of interlocking parts for the separately sold "Ultimate Exkaiser," including new hip joints, replacement mane parts, two pre-painted face parts, and a damaged head part, allowing you to recreate the thrilling final battle scene with Dynogeist!
