Japanese sculptor AHILL (アヒル), primarily known for creating numerous original characters centered around the circle "Akarenga Kobo," recently announced a rare licensed character new work: "Elden Ring Malenia Unpainted GK Model." Following copyright approval on the day, it will be sold on July 30, 2023, at "Wonder Festival 2023 Summer," the world's largest model exhibition (Booth No.: 8-12-15).
Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is one of the demigods born to Radagon and Marika. From the moment of her birth, she was afflicted by the curse of the Scarlet Rot, which corroded her body. All her limbs, except for her left hand, were replaced with golden prosthetics. With the "prosthetic arm blade" on her right arm, she can unleash powerful, elegant, and fierce sword techniques such as Waterfowl Dance. Her brother Miquella crafted a pure gold needle to suppress the Scarlet Rot within her. However, during the Shattering War, in a fierce battle against General Radahn, Malenia, finding herself at a disadvantage, unleashed the power of the Scarlet Rot without hesitation. The curse, which devoured the land, instantly spread across the entirety of Caelid. Even in her comatose state, Malenia continued to contaminate the Haligtree, and after an intense battle with the player, she fully transformed into the "Goddess of Rot."
AHILL utilized digital sculpting software for modeling and then 3D printed the individual parts, bringing to life Malenia's formidable mid-air attacking stance, which is so terrifying when facing her in the game. Her flowing red hair and cape exude a dynamic sense of movement, and the massive "prosthetic arm blade," which extends beyond her body, is incredibly striking. The overall sculpt meticulously captures Malenia's graceful physique and the intricate details of her prosthetic limbs, even thoroughly reproducing her corroded face beneath the helmet!
