South Korean emerging statue brand JND Studios will release the eternal "Superman" 1/3 scale Hyperreal full body statue, based on Christopher Reeve's portrayal in the 1978 film "Superman." It will be available in two versions: a regular edition and a dual version, with an anticipated release in Q4 2024.
The first film in the 1978 "Superman" series, directed by Richard Donner and starring Christopher Reeve as Superman, tells the origin story of Superman—as Krypton faced imminent destruction, Jor-El sent his infant son, Kal-El, to Earth, where he was adopted by the Kents and lived as Clark Kent. Upon growing up, he became a reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis and used his powerful Kryptonian physique to fight crime. He is hailed as the most iconic Superman in film history.
The "JND Studios Superman" 1/3 scale Hyperreal full body statue, imbued with the symbol of hope and glory, stands approximately 72 cm tall. Crafted with unprecedented exquisite production techniques, it vividly recreates Christopher Reeve's appearance from the "Superman" film, realistically capturing his handsome facial contours and spirit.
