The abbreviation for 'SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT' is also SMP, with the three letters simultaneously conveying three important series characteristics: Scene recreation, Motion (articulation), and Proportion. This includes the number of molded colors, the recreation of transformation and combination mechanisms, and the design of articulated joints, all of which are expected to be more advanced than the previous SUPER MINIPLA series.
The "Brave Express Might Gaine Goryu" Shokugan product recreates the second beloved machine piloted by Joe, Might Gaine's rival, at a size of approximately 185 mm (robot form). Referencing in-show settings and illustrations, it faithfully reproduces its heroic proportions, with its massive back wings exuding power! It also includes interchangeable parts for its Rocket Punch attack, where the arms are launched. Furthermore, it includes the Eagle Car, which forms the cockpit in humanoid mode, and can be stored within Goryu's abdomen! The integrated transformation mechanism allows for enjoyment of its jet form and base form, recreating the fated showdown with Might Gaine.
