BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, today announced the release of the latest 5th installment of its new series, "Shodo XX," an evolution from the popular posable candy toy "Shodo," scheduled for October 2023.
"Shodo XX (DOUBLE CROSS)" features enhanced sculpting and articulation compared to previous series. It utilizes a large number of new parts to refine the designs of each Kamen Rider and redesigns articulated joints to expand the range of motion, aiming to reproduce the cool costumes and classic actions from the show as much as possible. Additionally, an "Expansion Parts Set" is also released, including various weapons and equipment that can be combined with each Rider to recreate impressive combat moves.
The lineup for this 5th installment includes six characters: Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms, Kamen Rider Horobi Sting Scorpion, Kamen Rider New 2, Kamen Rider Necrom, Kamen Rider ETERNAL Red Flare, and the GREEED monster Kazari (Complete Form) from "Kamen Rider OOO." The Expansion Parts Set includes weapons such as Daidaimaru, Briefcase Bowgun, and more, which can be combined with each character to recreate cool moves.
