BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division of Japan has announced the latest product in its "SD Gundam World Heroes" series of model kits, the "Heroes Reborn! Revived Wukong Impulse Gundam & Sanzang Strike Freedom Gundam Set," scheduled for release in November 2023.
This product is themed around the master and disciple duo from the anime's flashbacks. It recreates the smaller, younger Wukong Impulse Gundam with entirely new molding. Its entire body armor and tail are primarily molded in colors such as gold and clear red, while also featuring rich, detailed sculpting. However, a significant number of color-correcting stickers or self-painting will still be required to achieve a high level of completion.
As for Sanzang Strike Freedom Gundam, it is based on the previously released Qiongqi Strike Freedom Gundam. It utilizes some new parts to recreate its headpiece and Khakkhara staff weapon. It also features rich, detailed sculpting. Similarly, a significant number of color-correcting stickers or self-painting will still be required to achieve a high level of completion.
