The HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. of Japan, which issues the original plastic model series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS" known for its easy assembly, convenient customization, and full display of mass-produced machine charm, recently officially unveiled the full appearance of its latest product, "1/144 EXM-H15A Acerby (TYPE-A)," scheduled for release in October 2023.
In terms of its setting, the EXM-H15A Acerby is a new mobile suit used by the "Maxion Army," the third force intervening between the Earth Alliance and Byron Army. Its mechanical design is handled by the renowned illustrator Fumikane Shimada, who has participated in the design of numerous Mecha Musume plastic models. Currently, two specifications, TYPE-A and TYPE-B, have been announced. It features cute glowing large eyes, ponytail-style armor, and a highly articulated body design with distinct feminine characteristics.
Among them, the "30MM 1/144 EXM-H15A Acerby (TYPE-A)" features a cute pink armor color scheme and twin ponytails that are actually two cannons. The slender body boasts a flexible range of articulation. By swapping parts, the head visor can cover the eyes, and the machine gun can be combined with the beam dagger. In addition to several standard 3mm expansion ports on the main body, accessories also include armor pieces with numerous expansion ports that can be attached to the shoulders or waist. The chest part can also be replaced to connect to Spinatia's chest armor.
Furthermore, although not yet officially announced, both the circular spacer design on the limbs and the central head part connecting to the face share the same specifications as the "30 MINUTES SISTERS" series, also designed by Fumikane Shimada. It is highly likely that parts can be interchanged, greatly expanding playability.
