Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY (GSC) has announced their latest release, the "Marin Kitagawa Swimsuit ver." 1/7 scale PVC painted complete figure, based on the TV anime "My Dress-Up Darling." Priced at 13,900 JPY (tax included), the figure is slated for release in May 2024.

Marin Kitagawa, the heroine of Shinichi Fukuda's romance manga "My Dress-Up Darling," is a gyaru high school student who passionately loves cosplay. She's a classmate of the protagonist, Wakana Gojo, and a dedicated otaku who adores anime and games. Marin believes cosplay is the "ultimate expression of love" for a character. Their youthful romance begins when she asks Gojo to create a costume for her to cosplay Shizuku Kuroe from the adult game "Slippery Girls' Academy: The Ojou-sama's Shame Club's Lewd Dream Life 2."

The "GSC Marin Kitagawa Swimsuit ver." 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 24 cm tall, bringing to life the swimsuit outfit Marin wore in the anime for her body measurements! The figure meticulously recreates Marin's distinctive gradient long hair, painted nails, earrings, and bracelet—all essential gyaru accessories. Her signature radiant smile and blushing cheeks perfectly capture Marin's vibrant personality. The daring bikini swimsuit beautifully highlights Marin's alluring physique, while her pose, with both hands raised to tie her hair into a ponytail, also reveals her lovely underarms and allows for a clear view of her pristine white back!
