The sculpting brand Kinetiquettes, known for its expertise in creating fighting game-themed statues, recently unveiled its latest product from "Stranger Things": the "Vecna" 1/4 scale full body statue! It is currently available for pre-order as a limited edition of 200 units on the Kinetiquettes official website, with an estimated shipping date in Q1 2024.
As the main antagonist of "Stranger Things 4," "Vecna" originates from one of the most classic villains in "Dungeons & Dragons," a powerful undead wizard who was ultimately destroyed, leaving behind only his left eye and left hand. In "Dungeons & Dragons," "The Eye of Vecna," "The Hand of Vecna," and "The Book of Vile Darkness" authored by Vecna are all legendary artifacts. In "Stranger Things," Vecna is a terrifying character who invades the vulnerability and darkness within human minds from the Upside Down, killing them in brutal ways.
This piece stands approximately 73 cm tall, boasting a commanding presence. It depicts "Vecna" in a levitating pose with palms facing upwards, surrounded by numerous tentacles that seem to support his body. The uncomfortable skin wrinkles and festering marks on Vecna's body are rendered with exquisite sculpting and gradient painting, realistically conveying a strong biological feel. Furthermore, Kinetiquettes has infused this statue with a wealth of excellent in-show elements! These include Demobats, Demodogs, a grandfather clock, and a door with beautiful stained glass, all set upon a dilapidated wooden floor base, collectively exuding an intensely eerie atmosphere.
