BANPRESTO, the prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, following products like "Yusuke Urameshi" and "Kazuma Kuwabara", is set to release the latest work from Yoshihiro Togashi's popular series "Yu Yu Hakusho": "DXF-Toguro Brothers- 30th Anniversary". The brothers will be sold separately, with an estimated release in December 2023.
The Toguro Brothers, popular antagonist characters from "Yu Yu Hakusho", are B-class demons. 50 years prior to the events of the series, the disciples of their dojo were brutally slaughtered by the demon Kairen. The younger Toguro, unable to avenge his disciples, realized the futility of human physical strength and the limitations of life amidst guilt and regret, which led to a change in his personality. After the Dark Tournament, both brothers transformed into demons. The elder Toguro usually perches on the younger Toguro's shoulder when not fighting.
The "DXF-Toguro Brothers- 30th Anniversary" prize figures faithfully recreate the younger Toguro's tall physique, featuring his signature military green long coat and black sunglasses, creating a stern aura. The separately sold elder Toguro, on the other hand, recreates his pale complexion and sinister long curly hair, clinging to a rock-like base in a climbing pose. If both brothers are purchased together, you can recreate the eerie pose of the elder Toguro climbing on his younger brother's shoulder!
