Following the Suletta Mercury in her duelist uniform, the popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts' from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has once again announced a new product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury': the 'Suletta Mercury (Standard Uniform Ver.) & Accessory Set', scheduled for release in December 2023.
The protagonist of 'Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury' is a girl named Suletta Mercury. In her childhood, she lived with her mother on the harsh frontier of 'Mercury', where Suletta was the only child, and the AI of the Gundam Aerial became her companion for growth and play. At 16, Suletta was sent by her mother to Asticassia School of Technology, an elite institution operated by the Benerit Group, a leading company in the mobile suit industry, to study in the second year of the piloting department. Many unfamiliar novelties excited her, but due to her introverted personality and lack of experience with peers, she struggled with communication.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Suletta Mercury (Standard Uniform Ver.) & Accessory Set' utilizes some new parts based on the previous version to recreate the green-toned standard uniform. The overall articulation design, like the previous version, features flexible joints. In addition to the smiling face from the earlier release, four new expression parts have been added: 'crying face', 'sweating panic face', 'closed-eyes smiling face', and 'serious face', which can be combined with up to 7 pairs of interchangeable hands to pose her in various actions.
The accessory parts include two types of smartphone-style student handbooks, a student backpack, a tablet computer, a snack mascot charm paired with Miorine, and even an adorable 'Haro Scooter' that Suletta can ride with the separately sold Miorine, recreating Suletta's school life.
