Japanese toy company Kotobukiya, in collaboration with renowned illustrator Shunya Yamashita, created the "BISHOUJO" figure brand. Following the release of the fiery "Morrigan" and "Lilith," the latest product in the "Darkstalkers Bishoujo (ヴァンパイア美少女)" series, the "Morrigan Limited Edition" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure, was sold at "Anime Expo 2023" held in Los Angeles from July 1st to July 4th! The suggested retail price is 15,400 JPY, with an estimated release in July 2023. (In Japan, it is exclusively sold at AmiAmi and Kotobukiya stores.)
The popular succubus "Morrigan Aensland (モリガン・アーンスランド)," who appears in the fighting game "Darkstalkers," is the adopted daughter of one of the three great demon lords of the Makai. Born with immense magical power, she is recognized as the heir to the throne and destined to become the beautiful empress of the demon world. However, she has little interest in the throne; rather than being a demon lord, Morrigan prefers to venture into the human world in search of excitement!
The "Darkstalkers Bishoujo Morrigan Limited Edition" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure utilizes the sculpt from the previous release but reappears with a new paint scheme inspired by her clone, Lilith! Her original black outfit has been transformed into a vibrant, glossy red, showcasing her demonic allure. The stockings covering her hips and thighs are replaced with an enchanting light purple, and her green hair is now a lovely pinkish-purple. The skin tone has also been adjusted. Furthermore, the packaging features a new design. Collect her alongside the original Morrigan or Lilith to expand your Darkstalkers Bishoujo series even further!
