The 'MODEROID' plastic model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced its latest product from the anime "CROSSANGE: Rondo of Angel and Dragon," the "Vilkiss Final Battle Specification," slated for release in February 2024.
The unit Vilkiss, piloted by the protagonist Ange, who was stripped of her princess status and became a lower-class warrior, was originally an old-model Para-mail owned by the anti-dragon organization "Arzenal." Despite its extremely high performance, it was difficult to control and left to rust. However, when Ange piloted it, her royal bloodline and royal ring awakened Vilkiss's true power, gradually unlocking various modes with powerful capabilities such as dimensional jump, energy greatsword, and convergence time-space cannon. The "MODEROID Vilkiss Final Battle Specification" not only utilizes multiple molded colors and partially pre-painted parts to recreate its blue-white armor and golden frame, but the characteristic red lines across its body in this mode can also be reproduced using waterslide decals. In addition to the assault rifle, Zanshin Blade, and freeze bullets already included in the standard version, it further adds the Collapse Particle Convergence Cannon "Seiran," a Beam Shield, and a beam blade for the Zanshin Blade!
By swapping parts, not only can the deployment of the back wings and the transformed flight mode be recreated, but the shoulder armor can also be replaced with a magnificent deployed state, reproducing the firing pose of its strongest special move, the "Convergence Time-Space Cannon"!
