Japan's Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) has, following "Wonder Woman Humikane Shimada Ver.", once again announced the latest DC character designed by Humikane Shimada, the "Wonder Woman Another Color Humikane Shimada Ver." plastic model kit. It has a suggested retail price of 6,380 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2023.
Based on the design illustrations drawn by illustrator Humikane Shimada, the re-released "Wonder Woman Another Color Humikane Shimada Ver." plastic model kit utilizes the same body sculpt as its predecessor but features a new paint application, recreating Wonder Woman's image with a brighter color scheme. Unlike the original healthy tanned skin, this version uses a fair skin tone for the molded parts, making the characteristic red and blue costume even more vivid, and the metallic paint leans towards a bright gold, creating a different ambiance.
It comes with 3 interchangeable face parts: a front-facing normal face, a left-facing normal face, and a shouting face. These can be combined with the attachable long sword, shield, and Wonder Woman's iconic weapon, the "Lasso of Truth." The left and right armguards also feature blades that can be used as knuckle blades. Additionally, shield effect parts and a simple stand are included, allowing for various poses, including the classic crossed-arms stance from the comics!
