On Tamashii Nations' official Twitter (@t_features), an S.H.Figuarts project commemorating the global character popularity poll "NARUTOP99" for "NARUTO - Naruto Uzumaki" was announced, along with the unpainted prototype of "S.H.Figuarts Naruto Uzumaki (tentative name)"! Other lineups are also in the planning stage, so please stay tuned for more updates!
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Masashi Kishimoto-sensei's popular work "NARUTO," a global character popularity ranking poll was held from December 28, 2022, to January 31, 2023, receiving a total of 4,600,000 votes. Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, took an overwhelming first place, followed by the eternal older brother Itachi Uchiha in second. Surprisingly, Sakura Haruno secured third place, surpassing Shisui Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake. The protagonists Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha ranked sixth and eighth, respectively.
To thank global fans for their support, Masashi Kishimoto-sensei specially drew a "NARUTOP99 Commemorative Illustration," and Tamashii Nations announced a project to release a series of S.H.Figuarts. Is it possible that characters from the top 99 will be released? More information will be revealed later!
