The popular soft vinyl figure series 'DefoReal (デフォリアル)', produced by Japan's PLEX Company and distributed by X-PLUS Company, which incorporates intricate realistic details into cute deformed proportions, has announced its latest product from the dream project "Godzilla vs. Evangelion": the "DefoReal EVA Unit-01 G-Awakening Form Limited Edition". It is priced at 15,400 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2023!
The powerful collaborative project "Godzilla vs. Evangelion (ゴジラ対エヴァンゲリオン)" has released numerous popular products. Among them, the "EVA Unit-01 G-Awakening Form" is based on the premise "What if G-cells were introduced into EVA Unit-01?", cleverly merging the two to create a captivating design that combines the image of Unit-01 with Godzilla's iconic large dorsal fins and long tail elements growing from its back!
The "DefoReal EVA Unit-01 G-Awakening Form Limited Edition" stands approximately 17 cm tall. In its cute 2.5-head-tall proportion, it faithfully recreates EVA Unit-01 as if its entire body has been eroded by G-cells, covered with Godzilla's rough, rock-like skin. Large dorsal fins grow from its back, and a Godzilla tail extends from its body, appearing in a snarling, berserk state! The overall color scheme features Unit-01's iconic green and purple. The green parts use fluorescent paint, emitting a powerful yet eerie green glow when illuminated by a blacklight. The limited edition features built-in LED light effects in the eyes and chest core, showcasing the berserk characteristics of both Godzilla and Unit-01! It possesses both intricate details and intense dynamism.
