KOTOBUKIYA, a Japanese toy company renowned for its "ARTFX J" series of exquisitely crafted anime and game character figures, is releasing its latest product based on the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba": the "ARTFX J Muichiro Tokito" 1/8 scale figure! The suggested retail price is 16,500 JPY, with an anticipated release in January 2024.
The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, who wields Mist Breathing, is a swordsmanship prodigy who became a Demon Slayer Corps Hashira just two months after grasping a sword. While he usually appears cold and sharp-tongued towards others, often spacing out, this is due to losing his parents at a young age and relying solely on his older brother, Yuichiro Tokito. When his brother was killed by a demon at age 11, the overwhelming shock caused him to lose his memories and emotions.
The "ARTFX J Muichiro Tokito" 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 18 cm tall, dynamically recreating Muichiro's powerful sword-wielding pose and agile movements during battle! His characteristic gradient hair and loose uniform are sculpted to flow with his motion, meticulously modeled and painted. The vibrant Nichirin Blade is also faithfully reproduced. The subtle expression on his face conveys Muichiro's calm and effortless combat demeanor.
Additionally, pre-orders at ABEMA Mart and Kotobukiya stores will include a limited bonus interchangeable face part, recreating his cool smile with the demon slayer mark appearing on his face!
