Hong Kong brand STORM COLLECTIBLES, known for releasing numerous action figures of fighting game characters, will launch an action figure of the villain "Earthquake" from SNK's fighting game "Samurai Shodown." It is expected to be released in Q2 2024, priced at USD 145.

SNK's "Samurai Shodown" (SAMURAI SPIRITS) first debuted on arcade platforms in 1993. A defining characteristic of the game is that each character possesses their own unique weapon, making it arguably the progenitor of weapon-based fighting games where combatants clash with blades. The game's intense effects, such as blood sprays and dismemberment, are also among its key selling points.
Earthquake (EARTHQUAKE) has been a staple since the very first "Samurai Shodown" game. Standing nearly three meters tall, his ability to use ninjutsu is truly surprising. He is skilled with a chained scythe and occasionally employs unconventional tactics to attack opponents, making him a very unique character.
This Storm Collectibles Earthquake figure is based on his appearance in "Samurai Shodown VI: Warriors Rage." It faithfully recreates his massive physique, standing approximately 28.4 cm tall, along with his pink attire and distinctive tattoos. The figure includes four interchangeable facial expressions and five sets of articulated hand parts, and of course, his large chained scythe.
