The assembly model candy toy 'MINIPLA' series, released by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from the Five Kingdoms Unusual Incident Countermeasure Strategic Rescue Unit, abbreviated as "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger", the "Shugod Gattai Series SP Legend King-Ohger Metallic Color Ver.", scheduled for release on September 18, 2023.
The Sentai robots appearing in "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger" are insect-type mechanical lifeforms called "Shugods". A thousand years ago, six heroes fought alongside the Shugods, defeating the evil empire "Underground Empire Bugnarok" and establishing five human nations. To this day, the monarchs of each nation maintain a cooperative relationship with these Shugods. The monarchs can not only summon 10 Shugods to combine into the giant robot "King-Ohger", but after the awakening of the three legendary Shugods – "God Kabuto", "God Scorpion", and "God Hopper" – they can also borrow their power to combine into "Legend King-Ohger".
The "Shugod Gattai Series SP Legend King-Ohger Metallic Color Ver." re-releases the 13 Shugods that appeared in the first and second waves. The product is similarly composed of plastic assembly parts, some pre-painted parts, and stickers, but the molded colors of the parts have been replaced with a metallic texture containing a large amount of glitter, making the overall visual effect even more luxurious. By collecting all 12 types of products, you can assemble a total of 13 Shugods, and through their respective transformation and combination mechanisms, complete the powerful "Legend King-Ohger"!
