Danish LEGO toy company yesterday (18th) announced a heavyweight Harry Potter-themed product: "Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition"! It is expected to be released on September 4, 2023.
First appearing in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and immediately leaving a deep impression on fans, "Gringotts Wizarding Bank" is the only wizarding bank in the British wizarding world, located in Diagon Alley, and managed by goblins; Gringotts' exterior is a classical yet crooked white building, with a magnificent lobby, but the coolest part is definitely the vault area where valuables are stored, reached by a mine cart.
This set contains a total of 4803 pieces. The Gringotts building alone stands 36 cm tall, and with the vaults located underneath, the total height will exceed 70 cm, once again challenging the display space of all you toy collectors! The crooked appearance of the bank from the front makes the building experience highly anticipated, and the level of detail is excellent. Turning it around reveals the interior of Gringotts Bank, and it can also be displayed with the "75978 Diagon Alley" set for an even richer visual effect; the lower scene features three vaults and tracks, and there seems to be a hidden surprise in Bellatrix Lestrange's vault!
Another highlight this time is the brick-built Ukrainian Ironbelly, which is also fantastic. In addition to featuring multiple articulation points, impressive large wings, and flame effect pieces, it can also accommodate three minifigures on its back, faithfully recreating the movie's setting. There are a total of 13 minifigures: two versions of Harry at different ages, Ron in disguise, Hermione transformed into Bellatrix Lestrange, Hagrid, a Death Eater, two guards, and a total of five goblins including Bogrod, Griphook, Ricbert, and two unnamed ones.
