BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan (candy toy) division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product in its new Mobile Suit Gundam-themed Shokugan series, "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM," the "RX-93ff ν Gundam & MSN-04FF Sazabi Set," which will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI, with an anticipated release in November 2023.
"MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM" continues the design concept of another Gundam Shokugan series, "G-FRAME," transforming popular Mobile Suits from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series into approximately 3-head-tall proportions. It adopts a common "MOBILITY JOINT" movable frame structure, featuring around 20 points of articulation throughout the body. The exterior armor also boasts a high density of detail, differing from the original settings. Once all parts and stickers are assembled, you will have a Mobile Suit approximately 70mm tall!
This limited-edition product is a modified version of the ν Gundam and Sazabi that appeared in the second wave, featuring new color schemes and newly sculpted hands to recreate their appearance from the Fukuoka life-sized statue and promotional videos. In terms of weaponry, in addition to the Fin Funnels, Beam Rifle, Beam Saber, and Shield already included in the regular version, new parts have been created for the "Long-Range Fin Funnel" and "Double Fin Funnel" – new armaments exclusive to the Fukuoka FF versions of these two mobile suits!
