From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts" will release its latest product from the movie "Shin Kamen Rider": "S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider No. 2+1 / Hayato Ichimonji (Shin Kamen Rider)", with a suggested retail price of 9,350 JPY, scheduled for release in January 2024.
The Kamen Rider 50th Anniversary commemorative work, "Shin Kamen Rider", directed by Hideaki Anno, is a new interpretation based on the original 1971 "Kamen Rider" and is the fourth film in the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe" series. Talented new-generation actors Sosuke Ikematsu plays the new-generation Takeshi Hongo, and Tasuku Emoto plays Hayato Ichimonji, bringing audiences back to experience Kamen Rider No. 1 and No. 2 teaming up against the evil organization "SHOCKER" in a modern style infused with nostalgic elements.
"S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider No. 2+1 / Hayato Ichimonji (Shin Kamen Rider)" stands approximately 14.5 cm tall, faithfully recreating Hayato, who, after surviving the decisive battle with "Kamen Rider No. 0," resolves to become a "true Kamen Rider." He is depicted wearing a newly modified helmet and the red scarf entrusted to him by Hongo before his death. The scarf is made of fabric with embedded metal wire, allowing for natural posing adjustments. Additionally, it includes a head sculpt of Hayato Ichimonji (actor Tasuku Emoto) produced with digital coloring technology. Accessories include Kamen Rider No. 2's head (handheld), Hongo's battle-damaged helmet (handheld), and a thumbs-up interchangeable hand gesture compatible with S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider No. 2, allowing for recreation of various scenes from the film.
