The 'MODEROID' model kit series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced its highly anticipated first product from the classic anime 'NG Knight Ramune & 40': the "MODEROID King Sccasher"! The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2024.
The classic 90s robot anime 'NG Knight Ramune & 40 (NG騎士ラムネ&40)' tells the story of elementary school student Baba Ramune. After clearing a video game called "King Sccasher", he is forcibly pulled into another world—the "Harahara World" within the "Heart-Pounding Space". There, he becomes the legendary hero "Ramune", traveling around to find other Guardian Knights, with the goal of defeating the "Don Genos" (妖神頌五力) whose resurrection was foretold by Master Fried Dumpling, and saving the world.
The "MODEROID King Sccasher" model kit, once assembled, stands approximately 125 mm tall. It faithfully recreates the Golden Warrior's golden body, its anime-accurate proportions, and slender limbs. With various molded colors, pre-painted parts, and stickers, you can recreate its appearance from the show simply by assembling it. Each joint is articulated, and it comes with weapons such as a sword, shield, mace, and spinning shield attack! The shield can be attached in two ways: a transformation-recreation version and a shape-prioritizing version. Furthermore, it can transform into the Lion Samurai form, which Ramune takes when he gets fired up, without needing to swap any parts! Enjoy it alongside the separately sold "MODEROID Queen Sideron"!
