BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest product from the popular articulated Shokugan series 'Shodo' and its evolved new line, 'Shodo XX': the "Kamen Rider W Half Change Set 01," slated for release in February 2024.
Kamen Rider W is the "two-in-one Kamen Rider" formed by the transformation of the half-boiled private detective Shotaro Hidari and his human encyclopedia partner Philip, using the Double Driver. By utilizing various Gaia Memories such as Joker, Cyclone, Trigger, Heat, Metal, and Luna, they can switch the forms of their left and right halves, combining different elemental attributes with various combat styles to create over nine different form variations.
The newly released "Shodo XX Kamen Rider W Half Change Set 01" includes articulated figures of three forms: HeatJoker, CycloneTrigger, and CycloneMetal. These figures are modified from the previously released CycloneJoker body, featuring flexible articulated joints within their approximately 10 cm height, and a rich metallic paint application across the entire body to replicate the texture of the suit from the show. In addition to various interchangeable hand parts, the set also includes an abundance of weapons and effect parts to recreate cool finishing moves such as "Joker Grenade," "Trigger Aero Buster," "Metal Twister," and more!
