BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially announced today the full details for the latest product from the 『S.H.MonsterArts』 series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology. This new release is the 「Blue-Eyes White Dragon」 from 《Yu-Gi-Oh!》, scheduled for release in December 2023.
The Light-attribute Dragon-Type monster card, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, shares a destiny with Seto Kaiba that transcends past and present lives. It can unleash its signature move, 「Burst Stream of Destruction (Jet White Light)」, and has various fusion forms and subspecies cards such as 「Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon」、「Dragon Master Knight」、「Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon」、「Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon」... It is Seto Kaiba's iconic card, and President Kaiba's 'wife.' In the original story, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon was an overwhelmingly powerful and ultra-rare card, with only four copies in existence. Three of them were in Kaiba's possession, while the remaining one was displayed at Sugoroku Muto's card shop, later torn up by Kaiba.
The 「S.H.MonsterArts Blue-Eyes White Dragon」 meticulously recreates the powerful design from the original series at a full length of 22 cm. Its distinctive blue eyes and silver-white body are expressed through a gradient paint application of blue and white pearl colors. Leveraging S.H.MonsterArts' long-cultivated articulation technology, the figure achieves robust movable joints where the joint parts are almost completely concealed. The jaw, neck, wings, limbs, and tail all incorporate numerous flexible joints with intricate articulation divisions, allowing for dynamic poses such as attacking, flying, and defending. Furthermore, by combining it with the included 「dedicated display stand」 and 「effect parts」, its signature special move, Burst Stream of Destruction, can be recreated!
