Japan's BENELIC company's capsule toy brand "Capsule Toy" is set to release a new cute animal-themed product, the "PukaPuka Seal" capsule toy. There are five types in total, priced at 400 JPY per turn, and they were released in late July 2023.
The "PukaPuka Seal" capsule toy adorably recreates seals with abundant subcutaneous fat and plump, round bodies. Besides their chubby bodies, these super cute seals also have very expressive faces! There are five types: a seal with sparkling, watery eyes, a seal sleeping peacefully with closed eyes, a seal with a relaxed smile, a light-colored seal, and a baby seal... Each measures approximately 60-68mm. Not only can they be used as regular gashapon decorations, but they also have the feature of floating on water, more realistically portraying the leisurely life of seals. They are perfect for taking out to play!
