Celebrating its 40th broadcast anniversary! Japanese toy company EVOLUTION TOY's METAL ACTION series will release an articulated figure of the main robot, "VIFAM" (バイファム), from the classic robot anime 《銀河漂流 拜法姆》! It is scheduled for release in December 2023, priced at 38,280 JPY.
The robot anime 《銀河漂流拜法姆》（銀河漂流バイファム） began airing in October 1983, produced by the then-Japanese SUNRISE (now Bandai Namco Filmworks), with a total of 46 episodes. The story elements draw inspiration from 《機動戰士鋼彈》 and 《十五少年漂流記》, depicting a future in 2058 where the colony planet "Credo" (クレアド), tens of light-years away from Earth, is invaded and devastated by aliens. After multiple escapes, the remaining survivors are a group of teenagers around 14 years old. In an attempt to rescue their family members captured by the aliens, they decide to fight back against the aliens using their limited ships and armed robots, "Round Vernian," heading towards the alien homeworld. Thus, the story unfolds.

This VIFAM from EVOLUTION TOY's Metal Action series is the Earth military's main RV in the original work. This product features the number 7 on its chest, indicating it is Unit 7, the model piloted by the protagonist Roddy in the original series. The overall articulation maintains the consistent high standard of the Metal Action line, allowing for all poses from the original work. The abdomen can open and close, accommodating a small escape pod inside.
The accessories are quite extensive, including a beam gun weapon, a shield, and a mini pilot figure. Additionally, it comes with atmospheric flight equipment, twin tanks for long-range space assault, muzzle parts for the beam gun, and shoulder weapon parts.
