Issued by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., the new series 'SHODO-XX', evolved from the popular action Shokugan 'SHODO', recently announced the latest product from Kamen Rider W, the "Kamen Rider W Half Change Set 02", scheduled for release in February 2024.
Kamen Rider W is the "two-in-one Kamen Rider" formed by the transformation of the half-boiled private detective Shotaro Hidari and his human encyclopedia partner Philip, using the Double Driver. Through various Gaia Memories such as Joker, Cyclone, Trigger, Heat, Metal, and Luna, they can switch the forms of their left and right halves, combining different elemental attributes with various fighting styles to create over nine form variations.
The "SHODO-XX Kamen Rider W Half Change Set 02" released this time includes three action figures: Heat Trigger, Luna Joker, and Luna Metal. These figures are modified from previously released Kamen Rider W base bodies, featuring flexible articulation at an approximate height of 10 cm, and a rich metallic paint finish throughout to replicate the texture of the suits from the show. In addition to various interchangeable hand parts, the set also includes a wealth of weapons and effect parts to recreate cool special moves such as "Trigger Explosion", "Joker Strange", "Metal Illusion", and more!
