BANPRESTO, a prize figure brand under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, has unveiled the latest product in its "World Collectable Figure (WCF)" series, which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life in Q-version figures. This new release for《One Piece》centers around protagonist Monkey D. Luffy's peak power state: the "Gear 5 Special"!
This WCF collection can be described as a grand assembly of Luffy's Gear 5 forms from his final battle with Kaido of the Beasts. In addition to meticulously capturing the essence of Luffy's latest transformation and reinterpreting it in a 2.5-head-tall chibi style within a 7 cm size, various exaggerated poses and states from the series are dynamically reproduced! These include a confident smile as he punches Kaido's face, "Gomu Gomu no Kaminari" (Rubber Rubber Lightning) where he grabs lightning with his bare hands and throws it, a relaxed floating pose with closed eyes, an exaggerated look with both eyes popping out, and a gritting-teeth stance where his legs spin like tires, as if being wound up. Each one is incredibly interesting, making this definitely a great opportunity to collect a rich variety of Gear 5 Luffy figures!
