The "Minifigure Blind Bag (LEGO Minifigures)" series, which most ignites the desire for a complete collection from the Danish LEGO toy company, has announced a MARVEL-themed sequel following "71031 Marvel Studios". "Marvel Minifigures Series 2" is expected to be released on September 1, 2023.
This second series not only extends the lineup from 71031 but also adds new MCU series characters and several X-Men. A total of 12 minifigures are included, featuring Agatha, the Chaos Witch from the series "WandaVision"; Hawkeye and Kate Bishop from "Hawkeye," as well as Echo; Moon Knight and Mr. Knight from "Moon Knight"; She-Hulk from "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law"; Werewolf by Night and Goliath from the MCU's first special presentation "Werewolf by Night". The X-Men included are Wolverine, Storm, and Beast. Based on their appearance, they seem to be designed according to the "X-Men '97" settings.
In addition to the minifigures, the official images also reveal many memorable accessories from the MCU, such as Kate Bishop's dog Lucky, the micro-scale Ant-Man appearing with Goliath, She-Hulk's oversized case file, the Sentinel robot head accompanying Wolverine, the Darkhold included with Agatha, Werewolf by Night's Bloodstone, and Mr. Knight's goldfish Gus, among others. Notably, the official images also seem to indicate that this series' minifigure packaging will feature un-feelable cardboard boxes! This is highly anticipated.
