American collectible brand Numskull Designs recently unveiled a 1/4 scale "TMNT Arcades" game cabinet that will evoke nostalgic memories for old-school toy collectors! Expected to be released from December 2023 to February 2024.
This fully playable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mini arcade cabinet, crafted by Numskull Designs, allows collectors to relive Konami's 1989 side-scrolling action game, officially titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. In addition to the vintage graphics from that era visible on the cabinet, meticulous details such as the blue, yellow, pink, and red four-color joysticks, buttons, and coin slot have been faithfully recreated. The arcade body is constructed from wood, and the marquee features a lighting function. Coupled with a 6-inch, 4:3 aspect ratio screen, it truly feels like a return to the golden age of gaming.
Beyond the thrill of playing the arcade game, Numskull has also added the functionality to connect an external gamepad (sold separately) via a USB port to this TMNT mini arcade, offering an alternative play option. Powered by USB-C, it caters to both new and old players! Whether you want to revisit childhood memories or are a new collector looking to experience past glories, this piece is highly recommended – and it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! A definite must-buy.
