SQUARE ENIX Japan has announced the latest product from its 6-inch action figure series, "BRING ARTS," featuring "Jill Warrick" from their major RPG title, "FINAL FANTASY XVI," with an expected release in May 2024.
The protagonist of this title, Jill Warrick, was originally a girl from the Northern Territories. Sent to live with the Rosfield family as a ward to forge peace with the Grand Duchy of Rosaria, she grew up alongside Clive, Joshua, and Torgal as if they were family. However, after the tragedy at Phoenix Gate, her family members went missing one by one. Jill and many others were captured by the invading Iron Kingdom. During this time, she unexpectedly awakened as the Dominant of the Eikon Shiva, subsequently falling into the tragic fate of becoming a weapon of war.
In recent years, female characters from the Final Fantasy series have often fallen victim to the "ravages" of SQUARE ENIX's own figures, and this title's beautiful and captivating protagonist, Jill, is no exception. While the BRING ARTS action figure, standing approximately 14 cm tall, largely reproduces Jill's costume design and colors based on the in-game model, and features flexible articulation throughout the body, allowing for various hand parts and a rapier weapon to recreate battle scenes from the game, the hair molding is rough, the color is subtle, and the face sculpt and paint application are completely different from her in-game appearance.
