BANDAI CANDY, the candy toy division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury" for its popular candy toy series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA": the "Gundam Aerial (Rebuild) & Gundam Calibarn Option Parts Set," scheduled for release in November 2023.
This product includes the Gundam Aerial (Rebuild) main unit, which had not appeared in previous general releases. It features a completely new sculpt, distinct from the original Aerial, with a greater emphasis on combat specifications. Continuing the series' hallmark, it boasts a flexible movable inner frame structure, and its exterior armor parts are crafted with high-density details. The bases of the two backpack thrusters can rotate, and the internal yellow wing parts can be deployed. Its armaments include a beam rifle and a shield. As per its design, the shield can be disassembled into 11 GUND-Bits, which can be mounted on various parts of the mobile suit to recreate the "Bit on Form," or combined with the beam rifle to reproduce the "GUND-Bit Rifle" firing stance.
The accessories also include a white version of the GUND-Bits, which can be transferred to the Gundam Calibarn, allowing it to be used as a shield or in "Bit on Form" in conjunction with the separately sold Gundam Calibarn. Furthermore, items that couldn't fit into the regular release, such as beam saber hilts, beam saber effects, and thruster effects for the Gundam Calibarn, are all included in this set. It also comes with an impressive 12 sets of clear stands and a dedicated display base, capable of holding all 11 GUND-Bit parts to recreate scenes of them firing as funnels!
