Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America has announced the latest product from the Crayon Shin-chan movie "New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan THE MOVIE Super-Powered Battle ~Fly, Hand-Rolled Sushi~": the "Quantum Robot (Kantam Robo) 3DCG Version" soft vinyl toy! It is scheduled for release in February 2024.
The Crayon Shin-chan movie "New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan THE MOVIE Super-Powered Battle ~Fly, Hand-Rolled Sushi~," which took seven years to produce and is the first to be rendered in 3DCG, revolves around the two major themes of superpowers and sushi. It also features "Shin-chan" wearing a yellow and purple outfit for the first time, with many "firsts" echoing the film's tagline, "Everything, a New Dimension."
This "Quantum Robot 3DCG Version," three-dimensionalized by Bandai in PVC, stands approximately 18 cm tall. It faithfully recreates the in-movie appearance, showcasing a brand-new look achieved with 3DCG effects, and features more intricate mechanical detailing compared to previous iterations. The eyes are painted in a glowing yellow, while the green sections have a slightly deeper tone than the "Quantum Robot Alloy Toy" previously released by Blitzway. Collectors can also place the included "Esper Shin-chan (エスパーしんちゃん)" on top of the Quantum Robot's head to recreate its in-movie appearance – it's incredibly cute and a must-buy!
