Following products like Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger, GOOD SMILE COMPANY's "V.S.O.F. (Vinyl Shogun Omega Force)" series of Q-version vinyl robots from Japan is once again releasing its latest popular character, "V.S.O.F. Steel Jeeg". The suggested retail price is 9,200 JPY, with an anticipated release in January 2024.
In "Steel Jeeg," originally created by Go Nagai, Tatsuya Yasuda, and Dynamic Planning, the protagonist is Hiroshi Shiba, a cyborg who underwent secret surgery. By striking his fists together, he can transform into Steel Jeeg's head and, using magnetic force, connect with the other body parts to assemble into the colossal robot Steel Jeeg, standing 10 meters tall and weighing 12.5 tons! He battles against the "Jamada Empire: Queen Himika," who has been reborn from a thousand-year slumber.
The Q-version vinyl figure of the super robot, "V.S.O.F. Steel Jeeg," stands approximately 22 cm tall and is made from vinyl material. Its simple yet dense sculpting faithfully recreates Steel Jeeg's distinctive head and vibrant yellow-green armor coloring. Details such as the joints and chest/abdomen are finished with a metallic coating, presenting a powerful standing pose within its charming chibi proportions, offering both a substantial feel and a great tactile experience!
