Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS will release a new quirky product from "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" this August: the "E.T. Face Ring Collection" (E.T. フェイスリングコレクション) gashapon toy!
The 1982 sci-fi film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" tells the story of a kind alien, "E.T.", stranded on Earth, who meets and becomes good friends with a boy named "Elliot", and is praised as "the greatest sci-fi film of all time"; E.T.'s glowing long finger is his signature feature (and of course, we can't forget those hilarious disguises), and the classic line from the film: E.T. PHONE HOME. (E.T. Call Home) was incredibly popular at the time.
This time, T-ARTS not only focused on the facial sculpting and expression depiction of "E.T." but also rendered it three-dimensional in the form of a ring. While the profound mystery behind this might be hard to grasp, this impactful design is absolutely fantastic! Within the 3-4 cm size, E.T.'s wrinkled face and blue eyeballs are meticulously reproduced, and a total of four variations have been created: a regular E.T., E.T. wearing a hoodie, E.T. exuding strong curiosity, and E.T. screaming loudly. Wearing them on your finger can truly instantly showcase extraordinary taste.
