Japan's multi-entertainment business FuRyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), through its high-quality PVC figure brand "F:NEX", will release a 1/7 scale PVC figure of the popular work "Jujutsu Kaisen"'s antagonist character "Suguru Geto". It is scheduled for release in December 2024, with a reference price of 39,600 JPY.
"Jujutsu Kaisen", created by Japanese manga artist Gege Akutami, began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 2018. The story follows the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, a high school freshman with exceptional athletic abilities. Through a twist of fate, he comes into contact with a finger from the Cursed Spirit "Ryomen Sukuna" and eats it, thereby gaining cursed energy, but Sukuna also becomes parasitic within him. He later enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High, studying under Satoru Gojo, and becoming classmates with Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. The story unfolds from there.
In the original work, Suguru Geto is a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer. He was originally a close friend of Satoru Gojo, but after the Star Plasma Vessel escort mission, his inner thoughts began to change, and he sought to create a world solely for Jujutsu Sorcerers. Although he was later killed by Satoru Gojo, his body was taken over by Kenjaku, who then initiated the Shibuya Incident. His Cursed Technique, "Cursed Spirit Manipulation," allows him to subdue and control Cursed Spirits.
This Suguru Geto figure from F:NEX stands approximately 28 cm tall, with its design based on his appearance in "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie". Suguru Geto extends one hand, a slightly disdainful smile on his face. The folds and patterns of his kasaya (Buddhist robe) are incredibly detailed and textured. The centipede-shaped Cursed Spirit beside him is also meticulously rendered. It faithfully recreates the battle scenes from the movie involving Suguru Geto, Maki Zen'in, and Yuta Okkotsu. Paired with its exclusive base, the figure boasts outstanding quality.
